Jordaan lays charges against Irvin Khoza

Safa president Danny Jordaan alleges Premier Soccer League chairman Irvin Khoza is behind the rape charge against him.

Jordaan claims Khoza is behind the rape case opened against him by former ANC MP Jennifer Ferguson.

Ferguson accused Jordaan of raping her in a Port Elizabeth hotel 25 years ago.

According to TimesLive, Jordaan said Khoza paid for Ferguson’s flight and accommodation through a third party.

Ferguson made her rape allegation public in October during the time of the time of the international #MeTooCampaign. She shared her story on social media.

The Sunday Times reported that Jordaan is accusing Khoza of defamation, criminal collusion and conspiracy.

The paper also had it “on good authority” that former PSL manager Ace Ngobo was also named as a “conspirator”.

Khoza was not reached for comment in what was reported as a possible “power struggle” for who will control South African football.

Ferguson said an “anonymous donor” paid for her flights.

She said Jordaan was wrong and hoped the truth would prevail.

Ncobo denied that he is challenging Jordaan for the Safa presidency and said he had nothing to do with the rape case.
