Last results doesn’t matter, says Billiat ahead of Sundowns clash
"We will go into the game with the right mind set, not getting carried away that we beat them a few weeks ago,” said Billiat.

After dishing out a performance that had Mamelodi Sundowns scratching their heads wondering how their team let him go so easily, Khama Billiat says Kaizer Chiefs would be fooling themselves if they paid too much mind into their 4-2 Shell Helix Ultra Cup win over Masandawana two weeks ago.

On the day, Billiat and Leonardo Castro ran rings around the Sundowns defence with the latter capping that performance with three goals. Billiat also scored.
“Having played against them recently, we know they are not going to make it easy for us. We will go into the game with the right mind set, not getting carried away that we beat them a few weeks ago,” Billiat told the Chiefs website.
“Right now, it requires a lot of hard work from us and we need to work on the details of the game, which will hopefully help us get the result we want,” he added.
Billiat also said what is important is the three points. The game has been hyped up with Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane taking pot shots at Amakhosi at any given chance he got.
“We need three points in every league game we play,” said Billiat. “This will put us in a better position than we were before the game. This game will not determine our destiny.
“We are not putting ourselves under pressure because we will have equally tough games to come. We need to collect as many points as we can in these early stages.”
