Paez – who was Amakhosi’s only signing in January – was introduced with 30 minutes left on the clock, and with the team comfortably 2-0 up.
“Having worked with him and knowing what he is capable of, if I were to rate him out of 10 I would give him a 5 or 5 and half,” said Komphela in a post-match media conference.
“There is a ball which I thought he would have done better to pass and he took a shot, but he is a striker and always looking to score. But it will not always happen,” added Komphela on his new Venezuelan attacker.
The 26-year-old did fairly well in the 30 minutes he played and he set up Willard Katsande for Amakhosi’s third goal and also had a shot sailing over the bar.
His movements off the ball were also quite notable and he could prove to be a great acquisition for Komphela.
