Stellenbosch FC have announced the signing of former AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs player Ovidy Karuru.

The Western Cape-based club unveiled Zimbabwean international Karuru, who was a free agent after being released by AmaZulu FC last December.
Karuru made 59 appearances for Usuthu, scoring six goals before he was released from the KZN side.
He has also played for Soweto giants Amakhosi from 2014-2016 before his contract was terminated when he couldn’t cement his place in the squad.
Karuru’s talents will be needed with his new side lingering in the relegation zone on the Absa Premiership league.
