Jayiya reveals favourite Chiefs player

The squad featured the likes of Cyril Nzama, Brian Baloyi, Jabu Pule (Mahlangu), Patrick Mabedi, but Jayiya all-time favourite player is Stanton Fredericks.

“Stanton stood out in the way he played. But also in the way, he presented himself off the field. He was never in the news for the wrong reasons and you would never hear a negative story about Stanton. He was a true professional,” said the 27-year old.

Stiga, as Fredericks was well known in the football circles, was one of the fan favourites during those years.

Jayiya had an opportunity to play alongside Fredericks while he was still a youngster at his former club Bidvest Wits from 2010 until 2013.
