Following their 1-1 with Madagascar in their second Group B game at the Under-20 Cosafa Cup, Amajita coach Helman Mkhalele said he held a one-on-one talk with his players in order to show them their full potential and insisted on how they should always make their way into the box to get a lot of goal-scoring chances.

Mkhalele has revealed what he told the boys after they bounced back with a convincing 4-0 victory over Lesotho on Tuesday which saw them book a spot in the semifinals of the competition.
“We spoke with the boys individually because it is very important at times that you make them realise their potential as an individual. Because sometimes when you speak to them as a group it has an effect, but I always believe when you speak to them individually whatever they have learnt they will be able to integrate it into a group,” said Mkhalele.

“So, we spoke to the players and told them how important it is to get inside the final third because once you’re inside the box, you stand a better chance of scoring. We saw the captain Lancaster Human getting inside the box, Keletso Sifama, as well as Rahim Milazi getting inside the box and making sure that whatever opportunity we create they finish them.”
Having finished on top of Group B with seven points after three games, Amajita will now take on Madagascar once again in the semi-finals at the Nkoloma Stadium on Thursday.
