The former Kaizer Chiefs striker posted a video of Zongo, who currently plays his football for GladAfrica Championship side Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Twitter on Thursday, saying the winger could have conquered Europe with his mesmerising skills.
“I hate showboating when competitive football is involved but I love this guy too much. With his talent he should’ve conquered Europe #Zongo. Let’s try uplift the next generation so they can thrive,” Rusike tweeted.

The 29-year-old Zongo, who has been in the papers for all the wrong reasons over past years, was given a lifeline to revive his career by TTM earlier this year with a short-term contract.
However, the winger was reported to have gone back to his old ways by the club after they reported that he went AWOL.
After making his Premier Soccer League debut for SuperSport United, Zongo went on to play for several clubs, including Bidvest Wits, Chippa United, Platinum Stars and Royal Eagles.
