Phakaaathi reported that the 29-year old midfielder left the county this past weekend and was going to finalise his deal overseas, having also attracted a number of interests at Azerbaijan.

The midfielder will wear his usual jersey number 27 at his club, having also worn the jersey at Chiefs and Sabah.
He was welcomed at his new club on Tuesday.
“Hendrick Ekstein – Welcome to Sabail,” read a club statement.
Ekstein will be in the same team as former Ghana and English Premiership midfielder Michael Essien at his new club.
