According to Zimbabwe’s Herald, Sredojevic is amongst the coaches who applied for the job that was left vacant after Sunday Chidzambwa stepped down after the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Egypt.

Sredojevic is currently jobless after being sacked by Egyptian giants Zamalek at the beginning of December.

Meanwhile, Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas, who was the Warriors caretaker coach for a couple of months after Chidzambwa’s departure, has also submitted his application for the Warriors job.

“A lot of people have encouraged me to apply for the job and, so, I have applied,” Antipas told The Herald.

“Should I get the job, Zifa will have to talk to my employers (Chicken Inn). We are sorting out a new deal.

‘‘But, first things first, we will see what goes on.”
