It is understood that there are certain teams that want to lure last season’s top goal scorer from Lidoda Duvha, who are struggling in the Absa Premiership.
“At this stage there is not much to reveal but I can assure you that there is a possibility that Musonda may be playing outside of Venda from January because some teams want him and he is keen to move,” said a source within the camp.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, there is little, on the face of it, for Chiefs to do to improve a squad that is already nine points clear at the top of the Absa Premiership.
Then again, if Chiefs are serious about maintaining a healthy advantage over Mamelodi Sundowns and the rest, then it might just do them good to bring in a couple of reinforcements. Phakaaathi takes a look at five players that we believe would improve the Chiefs squad immediately.
