Mashaba was axed in December after he was found guilty of unprofessional conduct following an incident which happened in Polokwane after Bafana’s win over Senegal in a Fifa World Cup qualifier.

Safa are however said to be already searching for Mashaba’s replacement with the likes of Carlos Queiroz and Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic said to be front runners for the post.
