TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi says if there is an opportunity to buy an Absa Premiership status, they will pursue it at all costs.

As Phakaaathi reported earlier this month, Sukazi is currently engaged in negotiations with Bloemfontein Celtic’s Max Tshabalala with a view to securing Phunya Sele Sele’s status next season.

Speaking on Radio 702 on Sunday evening, Sukazi could not confirm nor deny the report that he is in talks with Tshabalala over Celtic’s status.
“I would qualify it as a beautiful rumour,” he said on 702’s SportsTalk.
“I haven’t heard much about them being available but certainly, if they are, it’s an opportunity we will pursue. Maybe, you never know, come next season you might see us in the premier division.
“It’s either you win promotion directly or if you can’t, you acquire the status of a professional club. If there could be any club that is available today and they present themselves to us, as TS Galaxy, that is an opportunity we want. It’s an opportunity we are going to take at all costs.”
Meanwhile, as reported this week, Celtic national supporters club chairman Mabena Pule has revealed that the Siwelele supporters do not want Sukazi to buy the club because they fear that the TS Galaxy owner would relocate the outfit to Mpumalanga.
