Chiefs young star set to replace Sundowns-bound Maluleka
Swallows FC coach Brandon Truter believes Kaizer Chiefs shouldn’t worry too much about losing George Maluleka to Mamelodi Sundowns because one of their academy graduates is waiting in the wings.

Midfielder Given Thibedi was loaned out to Swallows in the Glad African Championship by Chiefs and has made a notable impact for the side.
Truter says the 22-year-old would be a great fit for Chiefs’ first team in midfield but warms against putting him under pressure.
“The boy has got all the attributes that make a great midfielder. He is a good passer of the ball, has great control, can play his game under pressure, and has brilliant shooting ability,” Truter told Daily Sun.
“I hear a lot of people talking about him potentially replacing George [Maluleka]. I think he has what it takes but you know, they shouldn’t put him under that much pressure,” said Truter.
