Chiefs target goes to war with Celtic over contract extension

Bloemfontein Celtic forward Dumisani Zuma wants to leave Siwelele and join Kaizer Chiefs.


Phakaaathi reported in May that Chiefs were ready to pounce on the 22-year-old player, who had not signed his one-year option with Celtic at the time.

Celtic, however, insisted that Zuma still had one more year to go on his contract.

The matter has since been taken to the PSL Dispute Resolution Chamber for it to make a ruling.

Celtic CEO Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco confirmed to KickOff that the case is before the PSL.

“Zuma’s matter is still a case, it’s a PSL case now.”
