Chiefs set to sign more players

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela has confirmed that the club is still on the lookout for more players.

Amakhosi have already added Philani Zulu, Teenage Hadebe and Bhongolethu Jayiya to their books as they look to strengthen the team ahead of the 2017/18 season.

“We are also shopping and checking. Do you just want to take out five million and throw it at a person, so that they say you paid,” Komphela told SuperSport TV after after his side’s 2-0 win in the semi-final over Township Rollers.

“There has to be some sort of rational in whatever activities. We are looking for somebody who can help (Gustavo) Paez and (Benard) Parker on top.

“We hope will get the right player because again, you go buy and you get the wrong buy. You wasted money and you wasted time and you are also going to waste the progress in terms of the final piece of our game.”
