Chiefs forward Zuma happy with goal award, promises more
Dumisani Zuma’s words after he was handed his award for Goal-0f-the-Month for November will be music to many Kaizer Chiefs supporters’ ears as the 24-year-old has become one of the favourites at the Naturena-based side.

The speedy attacker’s goal against Chippa United on 6 November was voted as the best for that month and he was handed his award this week. On receiving it, the Pietermaritzburg-born lad said he hoped to make scoring a habit, not just so he could win awards but to help the team win games.

“It was an important goal for the team, especially as a few players were not available for that match,” said Zuma as quoted by the club’s website.
“It’s a great feeling [to get this award]. Receiving this award will motivate me to get even more,” he added.
Zuma will be among the players Amakhosi supporters will be looking towards helping the team come away with a win at Black Leopards tomorrow afternoon. Amakhosi are on an impressive run, having scored six goals in the last two games – in 3-0 wins over Highlands Park and Cape Town City.
Zuma will hope to make another meaningful contribution when Amakhosi meet Black Leopards at Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
