AmaZulu’s Majoro conundrum
AmaZulu are said to be facing a conundrum regarding striker Lehlohonolo Majoro, who was suspended by the club and had been training on his own before the Absa Premiership was halted due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

A source close to the team said Usuthu management are divided on Majoro’s future with some believing he should be released while others want to keep him.

“The thing for Majoro is Usuthu’s pride. He is one player who started at the club and went on to shine at the highest level. The team wanted him to retire at the club but things have not been going well.
“He hasn’t been playing and was accused of sowing division in the team. He was also recently suspected of leaking important club documentation regarding salary cuts to the media. He has put the club in a difficult situation,” said the source.
Meanwhile, the South African Football Players’ Union (Safpu) has slammed AmaZulu for what they have labelled as poor communication from the club.
