AmaZulu close to signing ex-Chiefs defender
Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Mario Booysen is close to sealing a deal at AmaZulu, where he will be expected to take up a leadership role in the team's backline.

Booysen was released by Amakhosi at the end of last season and has been without a club since. But his days of unemployment are nearing an end, Phakaaathi has learnt.

“They want someone who can lead the youngsters both on and off the field and so far he is the best candidate as he is immediately available,” said a source.
Usuthu will, however, also look to make more signings in January with new coach Jozef Vukusic said to be unhappy some areas in the team.
