Morocco are bidding against the united bid of USA, Mexico and Canada for the 2026 World Cup.
Jordaan says they will have a discussion with the sport minister before deciding on who to support.
“We will go dons now and convey the sentiment of the meeting on this matter,” Jordaan told SABC sport.
“We have given all the information to the council members, they have looked at both bids and they expressed their views on the matter and we will now sit down with the minister and get the view of the government and other stakeholders.. it is not a simple matter.
“Then will go on to Moscow knowing we have consulted broadly and carry the mandate not only of football but of the country on this matter.
“We have to consult, we have clarified our position, many of the things that people looked at are football matters.. what takes world football forward… what about development… what about our relationship on the continent and outside the continent but in the broader context. What is the economic political environment, where the World Cup is located… those are the things we need to discuss with the minister.”
