The Stormers hooker has been on the sidelines for ten weeks following a frustrating appendix operation but is ready to face the Lions.

It might not be talked about a lot but Bongi Mbonambi’s return for the Stormers against the Lions at Newlands on Saturday is pretty important – even if it’s not immediately apparent.
The 27-year-old had to spend 10 weeks on the sidelines due to a frustrating emergency appendix operation.
