Monday night was a pretty special one for Wits’ rugby team.
In a thrilling Varsity Cup match, they claimed arguably their greatest result in the competition by beating defending champions Tuks 25-19 in Milpark.
And the emotion afterwards was clear when captain and loose forward Constant Beckerling did his television interview.
Beckerling is known for passionate speeches after big wins.

On Monday, he praised his players for playing with “enormous testicles” and famously said last year that their momentous win over NWU-Pukke wasn’t a “freakish aberration”.
