Everybody’s rather excited by South African Super Rugby teams’ willingness to play running rugby in this year’s tournament.
Yet, that apparent revolution will only be truly put to the test this weekend.
Believe it or not, the Bulls’ meeting with the Blues on Saturday is the first time a local side will face New Zealand opposition in 2017’s edition.
And Bulls captain Adriaan Strauss – who retired from international rugby last year – is under now illusions how difficult this challenge could be.
