This past weekend’s provincial Under-19 match between Eastern Province and Western Province was soured by a nasty fight between two players sent off with red cards.
EP fullback Dylan le Roux and WP wing Christian Ambadiang were both sanctioned after an initial tackle, which led to a scuffle.
It seemed then as if things settled down but as the two were trudging off, Ambadiang clearly couldn’t keep calm and eventually head butts Le Roux.
Le Roux then throws a punch and one massive brawl erupts.
It was all very unsavoury.
As an afterthought, WP won 47-18.
