Ireland beat the Springboks 13-8 in a thrilling, edge-of-the-seat Pool B match at the Rugby World Cup in Paris on Saturday.
Both teams scored a try each; Mack Hansen going over for Ireland, while Cheslin Kolbe scored the Boks’ try.
Manie Libbok and Faf de Klerk both missed shots at goal, costing the Boks 11 points.
Ireland went into the game on the back of wins against Romania and Tonga, while the Boks beat Scotland and Romania.
Ireland will next play Scotland, while the Boks have a date with Tonga next weekend.
