With the indefinite postponement of Super Rugby looking increasingly like a permanent suspension, it’s most likely already appropriate to just review the seven-week season already.
As a result, we’ve decided to name our local team-of-the-year.
There’s not a particularly complicated way we’ve determined our final selection – the men that appeared in our weekly XVs the most times, got the nod.
In the even of a tie, we looked at overall consistency and, sometimes, a bit of stats.
Here’s our XV.
