Springbok veteran Duane Vermeulen was already a senior player at the Stormers and Western Province when a youngster named Siya Kolisi quickly made his mark at senior provincial level.

Now, the 31-year-old No 8 will play in the same loose trio again with his new national captain.

Vermeulen isn’t surprised in the slightest at the “special” Kolisi’s rise.
