Former Bulls coach Pote Human cops ban for fighting in the USA

The former Bulls man will also have to do community service and pay a fine.

South African coach Pote Human has been slapped with a lengthy ban after a fight with an opposing coach in Major League Rugby in the United States.

The incident took place during a match between the Houston Sabercats and Rugby New York.

Human, who coaches the Houston Sabercats, was, according to a social media post, incensed by New York high-performance coach Ollie Richardson’s berating of Houston’s players during a water break.

Six-week ban

The former Blue Bulls coach stormed onto the field to protect his players and got into a confrontation with Richardson, leading to both being ejected from the game.

In a statement on its website, Major League Rugby said Human and Richardson were both hit with six-week suspensions following an investigation to determine the necessary disciplinary steps to be taken.

Both coaches will also be forced to pay a fine and are required to do community service and they will only be allowed back at match-day activities on 18 June.
