Canberra is Bulls’ danger zone … but not Rosko’s
The dynamic sevens legend is ready to take on his giant direct opponents.

The Bulls, having removed a massive monkey from their backs after winning overseas, are in Sydney preparing for a meeting with a rejuvenated Brumbies side in Canberra on Friday.
They have a solitary victory, in 2007, in Canberra and neither are the Brumbies a favoured opposition, given the Australian Capital Territory team have won the last three matches between them and 14 of 22 overall.
The Brumbies are coming off a pair of consecutive victories which have taken them to the top of the Australian Conference, while the Bulls are holding off high-flying Jaguares on points difference in the South African Conference.
The Bulls were clinical in converting their scant attacking opportunities last weekend against the Rebels as they recorded their first overseas win in three years.
But the Brumbies have made the most tackles in Super Rugby so it won’t faze them when the Bulls run at them.
Former Springbok Sevens star Rosko Specman delivered a top-class display of elusive running against the Rebels, giving his much bigger opposing wings plenty to think about.

This week his opposite number Henry Speight is as physically imposing with impressive footwork and skills.
“I like a challenge, especially against the big guys I know are going to use their strength and height against me.
“But in Sevens I had to take big Fijians and Samoans down. When I have the ball, they must worry about what I can bring,” he said.
