After claiming double gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle on the first day, he dominated the 800m freestyle event for pole position.
Brown opened an early gap over the rest of the field as he comfortably held onto the lead to touch the wall first in a time of seven minutes, 54.46 seconds (7:54.46).
Damien Joly of France finished in second place posting a time of 7:58.92, while Spain’s Marc Sanchez Torrens taking third place in 7:59.01.
South African women’s ace Karin Prinsloo could not find the form from the day before where she won gold in the 200m backstroke.
Prinsloo had to be content with a fifth place in the 400m freestyle which finished in a time of 4:08.69.
In her final race of the meet, Prinsloo touched sixth in the 100m freestyle in a time of 55.06 seconds.
Rene Warnes was the final South African in action on the night in the women’s 200m butterfly, where she finished in seventh place with 2:12.44.
The next stop of the series is in Barcelona on Saturday and Sunday.
