Razed in Black can turn the tables
Blinkers could have been the reason that Razed In Black disappointed his followers last time and it is interesting those have been removed so it is quite possible that we could see a much better performance from the three-year-old in Race 8, a MR 74 Handicap over 1200m on the Greyville Polytrack today.
TOUCH OF CLASS: With the blinkers off, Razed In Black should improve enough to win Race 8 on the Polytrack at Greyville today.
This Mike de Kock-trained gelding is only 1kg better off for the 5.50 lengths he finished behind Son Of Orimandes but as stated earlier it could pay to ignore that run. He will also be having his first start on the Polytrack and it could bring out the best in the Kahal gelding.
Roy Royale is holding his form very well and should be suited to this course and distance and appears the biggest threat to Razed In Black. Libertine, Jay’s Man and Malrebellio could be in the battle for a place.
