Olma can be crowned in the Cup

The Frank Robinson-trained four-year-old filly has always looked useful and this might be the time she gets to show her true ability over a course and distance that clearly suits her.

Olma has won three times in five races on the Polytrack but has showed her versatility by also winning on the turf and her last two turf wins were good performances. Olma only picked up a total of two points in penalties for her wins over Sabaha and Lala.

There are, however, a number of runners in the race who hold a winning chance.

Uncle Tommy has proven to be at his best on the sand but is capable of winning on the Polytrack and his “warm up” run when runner-up to Diamond King last month indicated he is ready to run a big race. The Gavin van Zyl yard is in good form and No Worries has done them proud in races like this in the past.

The Kahal gelding probably needed his last run when only fifth behind Ten Gun Salute. Likely favourite will be the Charles Laird-trained and Anthony Delpech-ridden Exit Here.
This three-year-old has only been beaten once on this surface and was only 3.05 lengths behind Illuminator in the CTS Million Dollar at Kenilworth in January.

Stable companion Stormy Eclipse has very consistent form and will be ridden by Anton Marcus. No one is in better form at the moment than the Sean Tarry yard and his runner in this race In Other Words is unbeaten in five starts on this surface but this is the strongest she has met to date and was 5.10 lengths behind Olma when they met on the turf.

The best bet and possible banker for exotic permutation players is Real Princess in Race 4.

This high-class filly is clearly using this as a preparation race for some bigger races this season but should be able to dispose of rivals Sensible Lover and Beloved Country.
