The trials on the new polytrack will now take place on June 3 in the evening.
The jockeys said it would be too strenuous to race at the big meeting in which the Daily News 2000 was the main event.
Instead of two events there will now be three trial races.
All officials will be in attendance and it will be open to the public. If all goes well the daylight meeting planned for the all weather track on June 11, will go ahead.
