Dillon, Snaith to strike again

Donovan Dillon has been riding all over the country and has been having a particularly useful association with Justin Snaith.

They team up again in Race 6 at Durbanville tomorrow, a MR 85 Handicap for fillies and mares over 1300m. He rides Provenance and could bring home another winner for the stable.

The four-year-old daughter of Dynasty has been lightly raced but has won two of her six starts. Most importantly, she won her only start at Durbanville, over this distance where she beat Tigress Dance by a length. She is well drawn at No 4 and should go off at decent odds.

Likely favourite is Varumba from the Vaughan Marshall yard. The three-year-old has only raced five times for a win and four places but there is some question as to whether she will see out the distance. Plus, she is drawn wide in her first start at Durbanville.
