2016 J&B Met – What not to bring

Here's a list of things NOT to bring with you to make your J&B Met experience the best it can be.

Do not bring:

Alcohol – There will be alcohol being sold at the venue for your enjoyment.
No bad attitudes – We all want to enjoy the event, don’t we?
Firearms / weapons or ammunition
Illegal substances
Dangerous knives – To stay safe, you could bring plastic or wooden cutlery
Explosives
Gazebos or portable shade structures
Teargas, mace or similar airborne chemical agents
Air horns, vuvuzelas, bugles and the like; (we’re not spoiling your fun – the sound spooks the horses)
Fireworks
Banners or flags with either vulgar, racist, sexist, discriminatory and/or offensive content

Here’s a list of things you can bring to the event:

Bank cards
Beach umbrella – NO branded umbrella.
Betting tips
Camera
Emergency numbers
Entrance ticket
ID
Mobile phone
Money
Sense of humour
Sunscreen & Sun Hat
Warm clothing if you plan to stay on after the sun goes down

COMPETITION:

To celebrate this fantastic event, The Citizen – together with J&B – is giving away what can only be described as a 2016 Met dream. Trust us, you don’t want to miss out on this one.
