Team South Africa are in the medals early in the Commonwealth Games after Henri Schoeman won gold in the triathlon.
The Olympic bronze medallist will be particularly chuffed given how he’s had to overcome some big personal hurdles.
Schoeman was accused of doping following an alleged positive test after the Rio showpiece but insisted he had done nothing wrong and was vindicated by officials.
Teammates Richard Murray finished sixth and Wian Sullwald ended 20th.
