The Commonwealth Games gets under way on Australia’s Gold Coast on Thursday, with Team SA participating in 16 codes over 11 days of competition.
With a number of medals on the cards on the opening day, these are the potential finalists who could be chasing podiums, provided they progress through qualifying rounds.
