The bill, put together by BRD Promotions, will include two former Olympians as both Jackson Chauke and Maxwell Amposah – who are both managed and trained by Nick Durandt – feature on the night.
Amposah turned to the paid ranks following his appearance for Ghana at the Games in London last year where he had the honour of carrying his country’s flag at the opening ceremony. He is scheduled to take on Foster Maluleke although it is not yet a done deal with Chauke’s opponent on the verge of being replaced for the six-rounder.
Another of Durandt’s fighters, Tsepo Lefele, will also do duty for the stable on the night when he meets Muleki Kukile in a flyweight battle also set for six rounds.
In other bouts Walter Dlamini will meet Charles Musafiri in a super-middleweight clash over six rounds while Vhonani Netshidamboni will take on Hanson Baloyi in a fight scheduled in the same division and over the same distance.
