All-rounder Marco Jansen, seam bowler Sisanda Magala and spinner Tabraiz Shamsi were replaced by fast bowlers Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, and spinner Bjorn Fortuin.

West Indies made two changes to their team, with Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph replacing Akeal Hosein and Odean Smith.

After the tourists won the opening match, which was reduced to 11 overs a side due to rain, and the Proteas hit back with a thrilling victory in the second game, the winners of the final contest will take the series.
