Ottis Gibson arrives in South Africa on Monday and will hold his first media conference as the new Proteas coach on Tuesday morning.
There are, naturally, a lot of expectations with the World Cup in 2019 looming.
However, in anticipation of the former West Indian fast bowler’s arrival, Short Fine Legs – South Africa’s only cricket podcast – spoke to former Proteas coach Gary Kirsten on his appointment.
And it’s appropriate as Kirsten was on the Cricket South Africa panel that recommended Gibson for the post.
