One of South African cricket’s brightest stars, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, will take his first steps at senior international level when he features for the South African A team in a tour of the West Indies in May and June.

Pretorius, who is only 19 years old and was one of the big stars of the third edition of the SA20 in January and also featured for the Titans in red and white ball cricket this season, is part of the 16-member team that will tour the West Indies from 21 May to 11 June.

The SA U19 graduate recorded three hundreds in five first-class matches in the CSA 4-Day Series, including a Player of the Match 114 in the Division 1 final against the Lions last Monday.

Pretorius was also among the top run-scorers in the 1-Day Cup, amassing 316 runs at an average of 45.14 with two hundreds.
