Commonwealth Games: Who to watch on Saturday

There's some great swimming action to look forward to while Henri Schoeman will look to add to his medal tally by spearheading Team SA's triathlon relay.


South African athletes competing in potential finals on day three of the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, on Saturday.

Triathlon

5am – Richard Murray, Henri Schoeman, Gillian Sanders, Simone Ackermann (team relay, mixed)

Weightlifting

6.12am – Mona Pretorius (63kg, women)

Swimming

11.37am – Chad le Clos, Eben Voster (200m butterfly, men) 11.43am – Erin Gallagher (50m freestyle, women) 11.48am – Cameron van der Burgh (100m breaststroke, men) 1.09pm – Emily Visagie, Kaylen Corbett, Tatjana Schoenmaker (200m breaststroke, women) 1.16pm – Kaleb van der Merwe (SB8 100m breaststroke, men) 1.50pm – Team SA (4x200m freestyle relay, women)

Cycling (track)

2pm – David Maree, Nolan Hoffman, Joshua van Wyk (15km scratch, men)
