BMW Car Club takes to Zwartkops

The Gauteng BMW Car Club will visit Zwartkops for a round of their 2013 track and race series on Saturday.

They invite all car enthusiasts to join them with circuit admission free of charge. That apart, you could spend R50 and get taken around the track in a racing BMW driven by a professional.

The club reckons they have destroyed 240 tyres and burned 7 200 litres of fuel while giving spectators rides in their “Track Taxis” over the last six years.

It will certainly be the most reasonably priced thrill you could buy in Gauteng on Saturday.

Most of the day will see timed trials around the track with the owners of all cars welcome to participate.

All you require is your car, a crash helmet and a fee of R700.

The event will also see round six of this year’s BMW CCG Club Racing Series championship, with some 30 cars in action.

For further information on the day or how to enter the time trials or race series contact event organiser Michael Broom on 084 325 2744 or michael@bmwcarclub.co.za or visit www.bmwcarclub.co.za .
