Smart ID card clinic to take place on The Bluff

The Department of Home Affairs aims to assist the community with applications for Smart IDs through its mobile clinic this weekend.

THE Department of Home Affairs will be visiting the former Boxing Club on 186 Tara Road, The Bluff, on Sunday, October 20, to assist in applying for Smart ID cards.

The visit has been organised to encourage residents to apply for their smart ID cards without necessarily travelling to the few Home Affair offices.

Fees for applications:

It is important to note that the Smart ID clinic will be a cashless zone and will only be accepting card payments.

This mobile outreach is expected to alleviate the demand for smart IDs, particularly with learners needing them for school registration and pensioners seeking accessible services.
