Eskom is working hard to restore supply in Sebokeng

In a press release received late last night (Tuesday May 29), TV Ramagaga of Eskom's Corporate Affairs (Gauteng Vaal Zone), released this information to Ster:

The community of Sebokeng is informed that Eskom is currently working to restore supply in the area after an outage due to a fault at the substation supplying the area.
The two lines from the substation supplying Sebokeng faulted around 17:30 and our technicians conducted fault finding to locate the problem. The nature of the fault is above the competence of our local technicians and as such our major engineering works department has been triggered and is attending to the fault.
At this stage we have no indication as to the expected time of return of supply but will share the update as the situation on the ground changes. While we apologise for any inconvenience that might arise due to the outage we also wish to urge the community to exercise patience and allow Eskom the necessary space to work on restoring supply in the area.
Customers are urged to treat all electricity supply cables as live at all times. For any electricity-related enquiries customers are requested to call Eskom’s Contact Centre 08600 37566 (24hrs) or text (SMS) their query and account number/meter number to 35328 (Elect).
