Sharing a little bit of happiness

Nicole Ras, the organisation’s marketing manager, explained the importance of celebrating Valentine’s Day with their members and volunteers

The Earth Centre brought all its loved ones together to embrace Valentine’s Day on Thursday, 14 February.

While the pouring rain threatened to discontinue the occasion, the organisers of the annual event managed to move the event indoors into a favourably sized venue which allowed everyone to interact even better.

However, other outdoor events that could not be moved indoors, such as the horse riding activities, had to be cancelled due to the bad weather.

Nicole Ras, the organisation’s marketing manager, explained the importance of celebrating Valentine’s Day with their members and volunteers.

“Since its Valentine’s Day, a day of love, laughter, joy and spending time with the loved ones, we decided to make the day a bit of a celebration for our volunteers, our centre and the children that we assist,” she said.

Nicole added that the event also allowed old and new friends who are supporters of the organisation to catch up and connect while sharing a little bit of happiness together.
