Three suspects wanted in connection with multiple cases have been arrested in Helderkruin this past Friday 16 September.
After the three suspects had broken into a house on Clover Street, Dowry Security’s High Risk Unit and a member of Helderkloof Neighbourhood Watch (HNW), Monty Els, gave chase. The suspects tried to flee by jumping the neighbours’ walls. Els and the reaction officers finally managed to apprehended the three suspects in Impala Avenue where they held them until back-up arrived. On arrival a DMS Security officer cuffed the suspects and handed them over to the police.
In the criminals’ vehicle, which was found to be stolen, some of their loot as well as house- and car-breaking tools were found.
The suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
