#DinosAlive: Be part of the dinosaur experience at Secunda Mall

SECUNDA – Dinosaurs will come alive in the Secunda Mall with DinosAlive, an augmented reality play park from 14 June to 8 July.

The interactive DinosAlive exhibition tells the story of dinosaurs from the Mesozoic Era, from about 250 million years ago.

Animatronics ensure that all 15 dinosaurs are completely lifelike, giving a sense of realism and a feel for what it must have been like to live in the age of dinosaurs.

DinosAlive also offers a range of seriously fun and engaging activities for youngsters.

There are dino-rides where the child will be able to ride on the back of a life-size animatronic dinosaur (T-Rex), PlayStation games, a dino-drawing table and a dino-fossil exhibition.

Imagine being able to not only see dinosaurs move, blink and roar, but being able to interact with them too.

DinosAlive will have augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) at their exhibition during which visitors can enjoy various experiences such as getting up and close with the king of the dinos with the high-end T-Rex VR experience, and making a memory that will last forever with a photo at the dino selfie egg.

The exhibition will be open from 9am to 6pm from Monday to Thursday and from 9am to 7pm on a Friday.

The operating time for Saturday is 9am to 5pm and again from 9am to 3pm on a Sunday.

Tickets are R40 per person and will be available at the play park.
