Mpumalanga team does well at national SAPSA handgun competition

Competitors took part in the classic, open, production, production optics and standard divisions.

HIGHVELD – The local Mpumalanga practical shooting team did exceptionally well in level three of the national SAPSA handgun competition held at Stilfontein recently.

Competitors took part in the classic, open, production, production optics and standard divisions.

Abrie Preller took first place in the production C-class followed by Ruan van Heerden and Arno Theron claiming third place.

Preller won the stage six production division and also took the overall fourth place in the production production division.

Ruan van Heerden came in fifth place in production division overall.

Hendrik Engelbrecht came in second place for the production optics senior division.

He was also crowned the stage 6 production optics division-winner. Paul Loock was the stages 4 and 15 standard division winner.

He was also third overall in the standard division.
