More than 50 victims allegedly defrauded by local advocate

Adv Enoch Felani Manana was granted bail of R25 000 in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court today, 14 February.

Mr Manana was arrested at his law offices in Standerton last Thursday in connection with alleged investment fraud.

A co-accused, Past Shadrach Manana, a financial advisor at Old Mutual, was released on bail of R10 000 on Friday.

All the alleged victims are from Secunda, eMbalenhle, Kriel, Bethal and surrounding areas.

The accused office was based in Secunda at first but later moved to Standerton.
