Welfare centre receives donations

Woolworths in Mbombela assisted with the donations.

Dominic Wellfare Centre in Wesselton, Ermelo recently received donations from Woolworths in Mbombela.

Shirts and socks were donated to the centre managed by Sannah Malaza with the help of Dimpho Nkosi from Woolies who wanted to assist the needy children at the centre.

The centre was established in 2009 by Ms Malaza where she looked after vulnerable and needy children. Since then, she has grown from strength to strength.

Currently Ms Malaza is enjoying the support from her neighbors who also devote their time to helping the children at the centre with their homeworks and cooking for them.

Not only are the children assisted with food and homework, but are also taught life skills.

The centre is open three days a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Ms Malaza welcomes any form of donations to assist the children and some of the unemployed women helping her out voluntarily.
